About Me

Greetings, I'm Olayinka Idowu, currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations at the University of Western Australia. I'm a lifelong learner with an insatiable curiosity, a profound interest in people and their development, and an unwavering passion for the creative arts.

My journey has taken me across several continents, where I've had the privilege of engaging formally and informally with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Through these experiences, I've come to deeply value the richness of multicultural environments, where each culture and individual's unique personality is not just acknowledged but actively encouraged to contribute to our collective human tapestry.

My skill set is a unique blend of knowledge derived from my professional endeavours, entrepreneurial pursuits, extended years of volunteering, and my role as a stay-at-home mom. These experiences have honed various skills, including effective communication, the ability to inspire, resilience, coaching and mentoring capabilities, adept negotiation, and a relentless growth mindset, among others.

I am a certified Life Coach, having received training from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). This training has equipped me with the credentials of an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner and a Core Transition Dynamic Specialist, empowering me to guide individuals through transformative life transitions.

My advocacy revolves around the principles of fairness, equity, and inclusiveness. I wholeheartedly believe that every individual possesses a unique identity, and our role is to embrace and celebrate these differences, welcoming others as they are fostering an environment where each person can thrive.

In my journey through the world of Human Resources and Employment Relations, I am dedicated to promoting these values and leveraging my diverse experiences to foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace environment.

We attract people into our lives for a reason or a lifetime, but always for a growing and learning experience.
